Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Overview

Cal2Sheets ("we", "us", or "the app") helps you export hours logged in your Google Calendar to CSV or Google Sheets. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to provide the service and never sell your data.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in, we store your email address and a unique account identifier to create and secure your account.
  • Google Calendar data. With your explicit consent, we access your calendar list and the events within the date ranges you choose, so we can calculate and export your hours.
  • Google Sheets access. If you choose to export to Google Sheets, we use access you grant to create or update the spreadsheet you select.
  • Authorization tokens. We securely store the access and refresh tokens that let the app connect to your Google account on your behalf.

How we use your information

  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To read the calendars and events you select and calculate logged hours.
  • To export your hours to CSV or to a Google Sheet you choose.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the app.

We do not use your calendar content for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

Google API services & limited use

Cal2Sheets' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the calendar and spreadsheet scopes needed for the features you use, and we only access your data to provide and improve those features.

Data storage & security

Your account information and authorization tokens are stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit. Calendar events are processed to generate your export and are not retained beyond what is needed to provide the export you requested.

Data retention & deletion

You can disconnect a Google account at any time from the Connections page, which removes the stored tokens for that account. You may also delete your account, after which we remove your stored account data and connections. To request deletion or ask a question, contact us using the details below.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these directly in the app or by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated within the app where appropriate.
